glance-api software package provides OpenStack Image Service - API server, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install glance-api
glance-api is installed in your system.
Make ensure the glance-api package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep glance-api *
You will get with glance-api package name, version, architecture and description in a table
